As the plumbers go in, there will be more packing materials as well as banding devices for the piping involved. Any water that has been spilled or leaked will have to be cleaned up. The electricians will bring their own messes in. This will include insulation, packing materials and scrap wires and the odd connectors that were broken or not good for use.
The fluid nature of the work will drive some people crazy. The cleaners will have to follow up on everything that happens right after it does happen. Picking up trash, sweeping a floor and not doing anything for great lengths of time. Then, all of a sudden, a detailed cleaning of a piece of equipment or system that has to be installed. It is an interesting job to have.
During the last phase of construction, the cleaning crew is all over the place. The actual cleaning required as glass is dealt with along with mirrors and other bright work. Fine sweeping is needed in all areas on a constant basis and more vacuuming is happening to get debris out of door tracks and the important duct cleaning is commenced.
